Seychelles Minister St.Ange attends Formula 1 Grand Prix

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, attended the Formula 1 race at the Yas Marina circuit during his working visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Accepting an invitation from Vijay Poonoosamy, the Vice President of International & Public Affairs of Etihad Airways, Mr. St.Ange saw Nico Rosberg win the Drivers’ World Championship.

"I had never been to a Formula 1 race and it was a real pleasure to be present in the Etihad Airways lounge to see the race. Many years ago, I was lucky enough to see a Formula 2 race in Barcelona when Air Seychelles and the Seychelles Tourism Board had a branded car in that race. Today, I had the chance to network with industry players while at the Formula 1 race," Mr. St.Ange said. "The atmosphere was great and I would like to thank Etihad Airways for this opportunity."

Also present at the Etihad lounge were Roy Kinnear, the CEO of Air Seychelles, and Maja Gedosev head of Corporate Affairs at Air Seychelles.
